Where is Westward Shores Cottages & RV Resort located?

We are located on Rte. 16 in West Ossipee, NH. About 20 miles south of North Conway. The Park is situated on the Northwest Shores of Ossipee Lake.

When are you open?

We are open in 2023 from May 12 – October 15. Peak season is from June 16 – August 27.

Where can I check rates and availability?

Through our reservations site! You can check availability, compare site types, and get an exact rates.

We are looking to experience New Hampshire glamping at its finest. What accommodations do you recommend?

Great choice! We offer the best glamping in New Hampshire and have 11 luxury cabin types, plus accommodations that can sleep up to 20 people. Cabin amenities include full bathrooms, kitchens, private bedrooms, porches, and more! View all of our New Hampshire cabin rental options here.

Do you offer day passes?

We sure do! Day Camp Passes are available during peak season. You can learn all about them, including the cost, on the Park Passes page.

How far away is your New Hampshire campground from Laconia?

Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near Laconia, because our Camp-Resort is located less than an hour away. We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near Laconia, with 10+ accommodation types!

Why should I stay at your Ossipee Lake campground over other campgrounds in the area?

Our campground on Lake Ossipee is in the heart of New Hampshire and has a variety of cabin & campsite options! Plus, we offer many more attractions and activities than any other campground nearby - including our pools, jumping pillow, sports courts, themed events, and more. On top of all this we are also on Lake Ossipee and have over 2,000 square feet of beaches for you to enjoy! These attractions, plus our friendly staff, set us apart from other Lake Ossipee campgrounds.

Do you have golf cart rentals?

We do! You can add a golf cart, hot tub, any of our other add-ons to your reservation by calling us or by adding one to your reservation while booking online! For more information check the Add-Ons page.

What is there to do at Westward Shores & RV Resort?

Well, since we are on the shores of a beautiful New Hampshire lake… let’s go to the beach! We have two beaches here (plus one for the dogs!) and they all have gradual entry into the crystal clear waters of Ossipee Lake. We have over 2000′ of sandy shoreline for swimming. If you’re an outdoor sports enthusiast, there is boating, sailing, kayaking, tubing, water skiing and fishing. We also plan special activities all season long. There is fun for all ages, so please check out our Things to Do page for more details. Please note that attractions may have limited availability during non-peak season. Open: May 12 – October 5. Peak Season: June 16 – August 27.

Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?

We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cottage location by paying our applicable lock in fee. If you opt out of the lock in fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but not the specific unit number.

We’re known as one of the best family campgrounds in New Hampshire due to the countless activities and attractions we have to offer! If you’re looking for a New Hampshire campground with a beach and pools, you’ve come to the right place. We have over 2,000 square feet of beach for everyone to enjoy, we even have a beach for you and your pets! Our spacious swimming pools are perfect for kids and adults too! Can I tour the park?

We are happy to show off the campground and we do allow tours. However, we cannot allow tours on holidays or busy weekends. Please call ahead, we would hate for you to waste a drive.

Do you offer cabins for large groups?

Yes! We have plenty of cabins for large groups in New Hampshire! With our group cabin options, we can accomodate groups of up to 20 guests! Cabins such as our Timber Lodge and our Shorepointe Cottage are a great option. More information on these rentals can be found here.
